New Orleans Wednesday at the Square

There are so many opportunities to listen to music in New Orleans. If you are in town on a Wednesday in the Spring/Summer, make sure to check out the free concert series Wednesday at the Square in Lafayette Square.

New Orleans Wednesday at the Square In tradition of all the New Orleans “fests”, food booths line the square with local businesses showcasing local artwork and FOOD. Of course! The system works where you buy tickets ($1 each) and then can trade the tickets for dishes. Most dishes are between $5-7 and include the New Orleans specialties: Crawfish Etoufee, Beans and Rice, Jambalaya, Pulled Pork and Snoballs. You won’t leave hungry. Adult beverages are also available. It takes a bit getting used to New Orleans open container rule and drinking a cocktail in the park.
